I like to make small slits in each pork chop—just a few cuts with a sharp knife—then season them with salt and pepper. This helps the sauce penetrate the meat. Place the chops into the slow cooker, nestling them into the sauce. Cover and set to High for 4 hours. Every hour or so, I open the lid and baste the chops with the sauce using a spoon
